So my little blog has grown up and I've finally got myself a proper site. Cute yeah? Hope you like it as much as I do. I've moved a few of my posts over, not all of them but my wordpress site is still active.
I’d never shopped with Shein before mainly because I wasn’t sure about the sizing, but they recently kindly sent me some items and I’m officially converted…
Firstly I just wanted to talk about their brilliant app. You can collect points for money off cute clothes, you get points by buying stuff, leaving reviews, posting pictures of yourself in their clothes and even just by checking in on the app every day so they mount up quite quickly. There's a section on the app called shein gals where people post pictures so you can get some fab outfit inspo and there's loads of great videos like make up tutorials on there.
The sizing really surprised me, it was actually pretty much spot on I don’t know why but I expected things to come up small. It took about two and a half weeks to come but they have got delays because of covid 19 at the moment.
So… my shein wardrobe refresh...
This dress though… I just love it, I’m wearing a 2xl which is a size 18, plenty of room in it I could probably have sized down. It’s actually on sale only £13.99 so complete bargain. Quality is amazing and looks so much more expensive than it is and omg the pattern is just gorgeous…
At the moment T-shirt dresses are basically my uniform. Again, I’m wearing a 2xl which is big on me but it looks really cool oversized and pulled in with a belt. This one is dressy but comfy. Dress it up with heels or dress it down with trainers and if there had been any festivals this year it would have been perfect. It’s another bargain just £11.99
Who doesn’t love a pinafore dress… I just love the graffiti print on this, it’s so cute and casual with trainers. I’d say it’s true to size, straps are adjustable. The quality is really good for £16.49. Depending on how you layer it you’ve got a few different looks.
I’m living for pink and red together at the moment and this shirt is just so cute. I absolutely love everything about it, the print, the sleeves, the bow. Great with jeans but would work as a work top as well. True to size and the length is fine. Can you believe it’s just £6.99?
I'm such a huge fan of summer dresses and I think this one is actually a new favourite. Everyone loves polka dots right? I always have issues with anything with buttons cos you know… big boobs but this is great cos the buttons are fake so you get the look but none of the gaping. Comes with a tie belt so you can pull in the waist. It’s only £9.99, good quality, length is fine and true to size.
Summer wouldn’t be summer without a shirred midi. I love the print on this one and looks so much more expensive than £17.49. It’s got a side split but it’s not too high. I’d say it comes a little bit big so maybe size down but its obviously elasticated to not really a problem. Perfect for summer days out and day dates, literally can’t wait to wear it to the beer garden.
I’d been umming and arring about shein for a while before they contacted me to collaborate mainly because they are so cheap I thought the clothes would be small and bad quality but I’ve actually been really surprised. The items were gifted but if I’d payed for them there isn’t anything I was sent that I would return. I’m officially now a “shein gal”.
