First payday wardrobe refresh, everything I’m dying to buy…
First some news… I’ve found a new job and start tomorrow. I was getting really stressed about the whole job situation and even though its only been a couple of weeks I’ve hated being out of work.
I did the sensible thing and put myself on a self imposed shopping ban and apart from two headbands managed to actually stick to it which for a shopaholic like me was quite an achievement.
So now in anticipation of having money again and feeling like I need an autumn wardrobe refresh, I really want to shop. So here’s a few things I’m desperate to buy…
Pink clove are working with some of my favourite fashion bloggers at the moment and I’m absolutely loving the collections they have put together.
This gorgeous dress is from the Harry Jane x pink clove collection. It’s been curate @harrryjane who is one of my insta faves. I’m a big fan of a wrap dress and it’s got decent length sleeves. The colour… Omg, absolutely in love with it. I actually love the way Harry has styled it with the hat but think it would look fab with heels and a clutch for an autumn date night or with Dr martens and a leather jacket for a cute day look.
Staying with pink clove, they have released a second Jess x pink clove edit. I absolutely love @jessontheplussize if you’re not following her then you should be, here’s a few pieces from her collection that I’m absolutely obsessed with…
If its the first time you’ve shopped with pink clove they offer 30% off your first order and I’m down with any company that offers klarna, you can pay for your order in 3 instalments if you want to stock up on your autumn must haves.
This jacket though… All hail in the style curve. I love anything oversized and with a dress and boots it will look banging. It’s absolutely giving me life styled with a white shirt dress. I can’t even explain how desperate to buy it I am.
You know when you love something and you don’t know why? Well this lace and beads dress from Asos is nothing like anything I would usually wear but I love it and I’m trying to wear what I want more rather than wearing what other people think a plus size girl should. Party season is just round the corner and I’ve got a couple of events it would be perfect for.
I promised myself this year I wouldn’t buy a black coat. I’ve completely fallen in love with this one from simply be its so smart but still fun and looks amazing with heels and skinny jeans. I love simply be, the quality is always amazing and never have issues with sizing.
So it’s officially boots season and I’m totally here for it. These ones from Steve Madden are gorgeous. I love a chunky heel and love the cut out and the buckles. I’ve bought from Steve Madden before and the quality is amazing and they last for ages.
Kurt Geiger have got some fab new Kensington bags, I’ve had the rainbow one for a while and it’s one of my favourites, quality is excellent, weight it just right so it actually stays on your shoulder, it’s just all in all a great bag. They’ve bought out some new ones that I can’t wait to get my hands on, here are a couple that stood out to me.

I’m completely obsessed with lingerie and absolutely loving the sparks fly plunge body from Curvy Kate. I’m kind of limited with where I can buy lingerie from but curvy Kate stock D to K cup. Their stuff is actually pretty and not like scaffolding, good quality and reasonably priced. Obsessed with this gorgeous body which is sized by bra size instead of dress size like so many bodies are.
Last year I avoided dresses in autumn and winter because of the “tights problem”. It’s took me ages to find tights that are not awful but I’m pleased to report that I finally have. If you struggle to get tights then try snag tights, they are designed to actually fit, really comfortable, don’t fall down and come in loads of fun colours. They really are a game changer if you want to wear dresses all year round.
Absolutely loving so many “new in” sections right now the shopping ban has been so hard but the drought is finally drawing to a close and I’m counting down the days…
