Black Friday best buys...

I don't know about you, but I'm so over 2020. As a self confessed shopping addict I'm a firm believer that black Friday should be a national holiday. I absolutely love a good bargain and normally I'd be in the trenches, fighting my way through the crowds in the bullring, only coming up for air and a quick bubble tea. Well this year, us serial shoppers have been put a stop to, but never fear, the internet is here and you know what they say... A parcel a day keeps sadness away. I've decided to cheer myself up from the news of being in tier three with a good bit of retail therapy. My outfit has got to be on point for downing prosecco with the dogs and pretending I'm at bottomless brunch after all and not saying I'm a living Saint or anything but when you think about it I'm supporting my local hermes driver so you know, he's welcome...

If you're looking for your Christmas shopping bargains or just fancy treating yourself (you've made it through lockdown without getting all Britney 2007 babe, you've earned it) then look no further, here is my black Friday shopping guide...

Fragrance

The fragrance shop are offering 20% off site wide with the code TAKE20 it works on offers they already had on so some of the stuff is a real bargain, a few that stood out to me Calvin Klein eternity moments 100ml reduced from £75 to £26.40, Jimmy Choo flash 100ml down from £62.00 to £24.80 and YSL Rive Gauche 100ml down from £75 to £36.80

Bags

A girl can never have too many bags right? Well I know I can't... There's loads of arm candy bargains out there, here's a few that have had me tapping add to basket:

Furla

Was £307 now £139

Coach

Was £425 now £179.99

Carvela

Was £49 now £24.50

Rebecca Minkoff

Was £234 now £115

Was £79 now £29 (£10 extra if you want it personalised)

Electronics

So I recently bought my first "grown up" vacuum cleaner (meaning I actually researched, read reviews and begrudgingly parted with money for a decent one instead of my usual method of an Asda smart price job that I constantly moan doesn't suck). I got a cordless and I'm not going to say I'm in love with a vacuum cleaner cos let's face it, that's never gonna be me but you know, vacuuming is way less depressing... Anyway, typically, they are now reduced... Shark has got some absolute bargains and a massive £180 saving on their cordless hoover. They've also got a black Friday bundle of a vacuum cleaner and steam mop which saves you £220.

If you are in the market for a laptop Huawei have got some great deals, they've had their black Friday savings pretty much all month and I recently bought the matebook 15, saved myself £150 and they even sweetened the deal with a free wireless mouse and mini bluetooth speaker.

Very are bringing the deals on the electrical styling with this GHD glide hot brush and air hair dryer bundle with a saving of £110

Aldo this BaByliss curl secret simplicity hair curler gift set down from £120 to £49.99, I absolutely swear by my curl secret and this is a good bargain.

Fashion

Pretty much all of the main fashion brands are doing some sort of sale... Obviously pretty little thing, boohoo and nasty gal are constantly claiming to have a sale on but I don't think they are actually any cheaper than normal. Pretty little thing are splashing 25p dresses all over Instagram but they all say product unavailable when you try to add them to your basket. Asos have reduced absolutely everything on their site, some stuff up to 70% off and theres even a small discount on stuff they never reduce like Dr Martens. River island are doing 25% off orders over £75, Dorothy Perkins have got up to 60% off, Debenhams up to 50% off and Topshop have 25% off everything. Simply be have 30% off everything, even sale items, new look have up to 60% off and in the style is all half price. There's some good savings at House of Fraser, All Saints has 30% off everything and selfridges don't do black Friday but they have got 'christmas comes early' up to 20% off.

I did vow to not buy any more dresses no matter what black Friday circumstances may arise, but I absolutely live for never fully dressed. Their clothes are amazing quality, investment pieces that are so unusual. They've got quite a few things 50% off and I couldn't have been expected to carry on with life as I know it without this beaut reduced from £79 to £39... My sincere apologies to my bank card... They have really got in to the spirit of things and made it an event with a full schedule of styling videos over on their insta all day and even a cocktail masterclass to lift us out of the tier three misery for an hour at least, not all heroes wear capes...

Watches

Is there a better Christmas present (or present to yourself) than a good watch.

This gorgeous Vivienne Westwood watch from watch shop reduced from £225 to £102

This guess watch from Debenhams is down from £169 to £77.25

If you're looking for a men's gift (or you are a man) this Armani watch is a right bargain down from £249 to £124.50 from ASOS

Food and drink

Most years the hospitality industry get involved and do discounts over black Friday weekend but this year they are obviously all closed but don't let that stop you. Loads of our faves are doing discounts on their gift cards ready for a cheap comeback dinner when we are released from our house prisons.

Here's a few I've found:

Marco Pierre White £100 gift card for £50

Eds Diner £50 for £30

Hungry horse £50 for £40

Toby carvery extra £5 with a £20 gift card using code ROAST

Virgin experience days have got great deals, use code BFEXTRA5 to save an extra £5

Groupon have got up to an extra 30% off local deals with the code BLACKWEEK

Small businesses

I love supporting small businesses so here's a few offers and discount codes:
